Job Description Summary
You will be responsible to coordinate and perform calibration of all measuring instruments, tools, gages, equipment which is under the Metrology Lab responsibilities, and ensuring that sub-masters used in the calibration process is traceable to credible known standards.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain a calibration tracking system of all measuring instruments, test equipment and fixtures in operation consistent with operating procedures
Responsible for ensuring adequate accuracy in the use of measuring and test equipment so as to assure conformance to calibration requirement
Adhere to calibration procedures covering measuring and test equipment and measurement standards which will be traceable to higher standards
Performs calibration and/or certification of a wide variety of measuring instruments and systems
Able to operate/utilize various laboratory tool and equipment such as CMM
Perform First Article Inspection of new tool and equipment
Perform scheduled maintenance and housekeeping tasks
Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum GCE ‘O’ level and/or with 3 years of relevant experience
Preferably NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Materials/Quality Assurance Engineering; or Diploma in Mechanical/Materials/Quality Assurance Engineering
Able to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in English
