GE Aerospace Performance Engineer Intern in Queretaro, Mexico
Job Description Summary
The GE9X performance team is in charge of assuring all GE9X engines comply with required performance to deliver safety and reliable operation. The team is looking for an Engineering student with passion for the aviation industry and technology development to help the team meeting 2023 commitments. On this job, you will be responsible to monitor new GE9X engines, and you will learn and apply statistics to ensure quality control is kept by assuring every engine meets customer expectations and guaranties as well as acquiring testing experience during the NPI program phase.

Roles and Responsibilities
Conceptual or theoretical activities related to translating users' needs into the definition of a system, its architecture and design through an iterative process that results in an effective operational system and demands an interdisciplinary approach.
Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy.
Makes use of statistical tools to provide answers.
Performs parametric studies regarding the interaction of the different component of the engine
May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
Present and substantiate results from her/his own work to leadership and direct manager
Required Qualifications
Currently in an Engineering bachelor (Mechanical, Aeronautical or Mechatronics) with no more than two years to graduate .
Good communication in Spanish and English.
Knowledge in thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
Desired Characteristics
Experience with thermodynamics and fluid dynamics
Experience with python or similar computational language
