Job Description Summary

As a Process Engineer, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process, influencing departmental operations and taking charge of planning and execution. While you will have some autonomy, your focus will primarily be on executing activities within established functional practices and procedures, often under guidance.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Define and oversee production processes, including tooling and equipment, ensuring their efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Validate design specifications and oversee their application on the shop floor for new products, tools, or equipment, collaborating closely with Manufacturing/Process Engineers.

  • Develop comprehensive process instructions to guide production activities.

  • Implement strategies for cost reduction through lean practices, loss reduction, and other efficiency measures.

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of technical disciplines, leveraging previous experience and technical expertise to execute policies and strategies effectively.

  • Demonstrate a thorough comprehension of key business drivers, leveraging this knowledge to achieve objectives and integrate the work of your team with others within the organization.

  • Exercise judgment in proposing solutions that may deviate from standard parameters, seeking guidance as needed.

  • Utilize prior experience and on-the-job training to tackle straightforward tasks, employing technical skills and analytical thinking to solve problems.

  • Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders beyond your immediate team to make informed decisions.

  • Serve as an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills, or as an emerging leader capable of hiring and developing talent.

  • Offer informal guidance and support to new team members, contributing to their onboarding and development.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in Manufacturing or Process Engineering).

  • Minimum of 3 years of Manufacturing or Process Engineering experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems swiftly and decisively.

  • Proficiency in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs with precision.

The base pay range for this position is $83,800 - $100,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on July 1, 2024.
