Job Description Summary

This role is for an Engineer / Technologist to support the Materials & Process team within various projects. Example projects include; cost reduction, alternative coatings and novel manufacturing techniques

Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Engage in long/short term projects with the Materials and Process team on a variety of materials and processes related to propeller manufacture

  • Work closely with the Manufacturing Engineers to help solve day to day production issues

  • Support in-house programmes and new product introduction.

  • Assist with blade defect and material analysis

  • Work with suppliers on new materials

  • Help support laboratory team with incoming material analysis and testing

Essential Requirements:-

Engineering or Science related degree and or hands on relevant engineering / manufacturing experience.
