Job Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to lead our Reinsurance Audit team. In this role, you will create audit plans, oversee the execution of audits, ensure the accuracy and integrity of audit reports, and drive continuous improvement of the audit processes related to our Long Term Care and other lines of reinsurance business. You will establish metrics and monitor results, leveraging audit data to identify risks and develop plans of action to mitigate exposure to risk. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting claim accuracy and fraud mitigation initiatives. Your leadership will be crucial in nurturing productive relationships with our partners and fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation within the team.

Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Reinsurance Audit team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback
Develop and implement audit plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
Oversee the execution of desk and field claim audits, ensuring accurate documentation of findings and recommendations
Review and approve audit reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and actionable insights
Present audit results to senior management and clients, facilitating response reconciliation and audit closure
Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations, tracking follow-up actions to resolution
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners and clients to enhance claim accuracy practices and fraud mitigation strategies
Analyze audit data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovative solutions and best practices within the team
Ensure compliance with all treaties, relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Manage team resources effectively, prioritizing tasks and projects to meet deadlines and achieve objectives
The base pay range for this position is $93,000.00 - 124,000.00 - 155,000.00 Annual The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary on the plan. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, insurance, or commensurate experience
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in insurance and/or reinsurance claims, with at least five (5) years in an audit or management role
Proven experience in leading and managing claim adjudication or audit teams, with a track record of driving performance and achieving results
Strong knowledge of insurance policy provisions, benefit eligibility requirements, and limitations
Proficiency in medical terminology and medical impairments related to long-term care, disability, life, and/or health insurance claims
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively
Desired Characteristics
Industry-specific education or related professional designations
Experience in reinsurance claims
Extensive long term care claim experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, perform root cause analysis and develop solutions

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI and ability to navigate other business-related software, including claim processing systems and applications.
