GE Aerospace Technical Operations Lead – Finance Controllership in Bengaluru, India

Job Description Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining critical applications within the Finance Controllership application landscape, including but not limited to custom developed web applications. You will own and be accountable for application and platform performance, security, and compliance, with a focus on aligning SLAs to operational commitments and ensuring application and data integrity. You will drive process rigor around incident management, change control and all support activities while executing on all governance, risk, and compliance activities within a SOX framework. In addition, you will use expertise in your technical and functional domain to identify and drive opportunities for improvement.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience expected with demonstrated competency and skill.

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

  • Acts as a central escalation point for highly critical and/or highly impactful user application outages and incidents.

  • Supports monthly/quarterly/yearly close activities and other critical processes

  • Owns prioritization of enhancements and incidents assigned to the team.

  • Influences technical team on their decisions.

  • Drives design and implementation of roadmap.

  • Partners with users and product team to understand application product operational needs

  • Defines and tracks KPIs.

  • Drives adherence to IT Compliance standards (SOX, ISO) and supports all Audit and Compliance initiatives.

  • Communicates operational status to users and leadership.

  • Drives resolution of escalated items.
